Command Sergeant Major (Ret.) James Wheeler is the founder and developer of The Evolution Club for Boys. A Louisiana native, CSM (Ret.) Wheeler is a retired U.S. Army veteran who honorably served for 32 years, and he continues to pour into the next generation as a high school JROTC Instructor.

As the father of six grown children—five sons and one daughter—he brings a unique blend of lived experience, leadership, discipline, and mentorship to the lives of young men. His guidance is shaped not only by decades of military service, but also by his ongoing work in education and youth development.

CSM (Ret.) Wheeler is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, organizations recognized for their commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and community uplift.

The Evolution Club for Boys was built on this foundation—military excellence, educational leadership, fraternal service, and fatherhood—with a clear purpose: to shape lives, build men, and strengthen communities.
